Only active time counts. A configurable idle timeout stops the clock when you step away, and a local queue buffers sessions and retries if a request fails.

Dev Code Tracker — WordPress time tracking pluginTrack your WordPress admin time.
Ever wonder how many hours you actually spend inside wp-admin? Dev Code Tracker silently measures active time on every admin screen — with idle detection, per-page breakdowns and a streak tracker to keep you motivated.
Built for WordPress developers, agencies and power users.
Visibility into where your time goes — without ever leaving wp-admin.
Post title, post type and time spent for every post and page — click a title to jump straight to its edit screen.
Today, This Week and All Time cards, a 30-day bar chart and a streak tracker for consecutive active days.
Today's total at a glance on the main WordPress dashboard, plus a live timer in the admin toolbar.
Each user's time is tracked separately. The Sessions Log shows who every session belongs to.
Tracks time inside single-page admin screens such as WooCommerce Analytics and React or Vue-based plugins.
Keeps counting inside your page builder.
Most of a WordPress build happens in a visual editor. A floating badge shows the live timer while you design, and the admin toolbar timer follows you across every admin screen.

Dev Code Tracker for WordPress questions
Need help? Use the support forum or email hello@bitlence.com.
Does it track front-end page views?
Only when a supported page builder is active — for example while you edit a page in Elementor or Divi. Normal front-end browsing is not tracked.
Does it slow down my site?
No. The tracker runs only in wp-admin for logged-in users, so visitors to your site are never affected.
Where is the data stored?
In your own WordPress database. Nothing is sent to any external server.
Can I export my data?
Yes. The Sessions Log has a CSV export that respects your active date filters, and admins can export from the Team Overview page.
Does it work with multisite?
It creates its tables per site, but multisite has not been officially tested yet.
What happens to my data if I deactivate the plugin?
It is kept. The plugin's tables are only removed when you delete the plugin, not when you deactivate it.
Can I track only certain user roles?
Yes. Choose which roles are tracked in Dev Code Tracker → Settings.
Can I see how much time my whole team has logged?
Yes. Admins get a dedicated Team Overview page with per-user totals, a date-range filter and CSV export.
